The Fair Office has become aware of scammers trying to sell concert tickets. We do our best to prevent these scams happening on our page, but here are some ways prevent falling for these scams:
Avoid Unrealistic Bargains: Be cautious if a deal seems too good to be true. Scammers may lure victims with unrealistically low prices. Dylan Scott tickets are $70 each and Neal McCoy tickets are $35 each.
Check Links Before Clicking: Don’t click on random links sent via email or social
media. It is safest to buy tickets by calling the Fair Office at (360) 482-2651. Tickets are not sold online at this time. All tickets are coded, physical tickets with seat numbers. They are not computer-printer generated.
Be Wary of Social Media: Scammers often operate on social media platforms. If someone approaches you with tickets via Instagram, Facebook, or other channels, proceed with caution. Verify their legitimacy before making any payments. If you are buying tickets from an individual, it is recommended to see/receive the ticket before you send any sort of payment.
Report Scams Immediately: If you encounter a suspicious ticket seller or believe you’ve fallen victim to a scam, report it promptly. Protect yourself and help others by reporting fraudulent activity.
