Camping spaces are available on a first-come, first served basis depending on event reservation structure; the date payment is received; number of nights reserved; and size of RV unit.THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS FOR CAMPING FOR ANY REASONS.FAIRGROUND CAMPING IS SEPERATE FROM ALL EVENTS OR THE CANCELATION OF ANY EVENT.Please remember that the Raceway is managed by a separate business entity and that the Fairgrounds have no control over raceway operations.


Camp Spaces are limited to ONE Camping Unit (ie. Motor home, Camper, Trailer, Tent, etc) and ONEvehicle.Trucks that tow Trailers are considered the allowed vehicle.A truck and camper combo will be allowed to have a separate vehicle as long as the Truck stays connected to the camper.

Helmets are required while driving/riding ATV’s, 4-wheelers, motorcycles and motorized scooters, etc. They are recommended for those riding bicycles.All drivers of ATV’s, 4-wheelers, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters and any other motorized vehicle must be 16 years of age and have a valid state drivers license in order to operate a motorized vehicle on the Fairgrounds.


There is a speed limit of 5 miles per hour on Fairgrounds property. Anyone breaking the speed limit will be required to park the vehicle; refrain from driving any motorized vehicle for the remainder of their stay; and may be cited by Grays Harbor County Deputies. If such behavior continues they may be required to leave the Fairgrounds. Refunds WILL NOT be issued. There will also be restricted driving times and areas where vehicles are not allowed. Please pay attention to and obey all signage.

Alcohol may only be consumed by persons 21 years of age or older and it may only be done in designated camping areas.Alcohol may not be carried from campsites onto public areas of the fairgrounds which includes, but is not limited to paved walkways, roadways, food court area, stages and buildings.Operating motorized vehicles under the influence of alcohol will not be tolerated.The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Department will be contacted immediately and the person doing so will be required to leave the Fairgrounds.

To reduce fire danger, NO open fires are allowed anywhere on the Fairgrounds. Barbecues and other cooking devices that contain and control flame levels are allowed.Smokers must exercise caution and utilize buckets, located throughout the grounds, to dispose of cigarette butts.

There is a 1:00 a.m. quiet-time out of respect for fellow campers and neighbors of the Fairgrounds.Campers will need to have music volumes low enough that it cannot be heard outside of their specific campsite.Conversation volumes must also be kept at the same acceptable level. Fair Staff, Fair Board Members, and/or Grays Harbor County Deputies have the authority to shut down camps and/or require campers to leave grounds, if necessary. In such situations refunds WILL NOT be issued.

Other than during K-9 events, such as Dog Shows and while dogs are being shown at the County Fair, no dogs are allowed within the Fairgrounds Pavilion Building, or congested outdoor activity areas.Registered service dogs are the only exception.Service dogs must be controlled by the owner; on leashes; or contained in kennel type devices. Campers who bring their dogs must contain such pet within their rented camp site using a leash or kennel type device. DOGS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ROAM THE FAIRGROUNDS OFF LEASH. Persons who violate this policy may be required to leave the grounds. The owner of a dog who harms anyone on the Fairgrounds or damages property will be solely responsible for the actions of their animal and will be held liable for all costs and recovery related to any and all injuries and/or damages.

The Grays Harbor County Fair & Event Center may, at its discretion, restrict, prohibit or shut down campsites that it considers to be unsafe, unruly, or otherwise inappropriate for fairgrounds events. Persons may be required to leave the grounds for conduct issues and/or inappropriate behavior. No refunds will be issued. Persons whose negative conduct is severe enough, or becomes a reoccurring problem may be permanently banned from the Fairgrounds.

Access and egress routes, as well as lanes between rows of camping units, must remain open at all times for the purpose of emergency access and fire protection.Vehicles blocking such will be towed at owner’s expense.

The Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds assumes no responsibility and is not liable for the security of campsites or personal property, including but not limited to vehicles and RV’s that are located on Fairgrounds property.Camping is at own risk.

Anyone who damages Fairgrounds property is financially responsible for all necessary repairs and/or replacement.

Camping rates and reservation policies are different for the week of the County Fair; Olympia Dog Fanciers Show; Major Race Weekends, such as the Brownfield Memorial, ASCS Events, World of Outlaws; as well as all other major event dates. The Fairgrounds reserves the right to modify camping rates, policies as necessary, according to the special needs of each event.

These camping rules are for the protection and convenience of our customers and guests.They are also intended to assist Fairgrounds personnel in the operation and management of the facility. Completion of the Camping Reservation Form and/or payment for camping space constitutes acceptance of all fairgrounds camping rules/policies, as well as the liability release and hold harmless clause below. It also constitutes agreement that all persons renting or staying at the assigned camping area will abide by, as well as, help to enforce such Fairgrounds rules and policies to all other persons using/visiting the assigned camp area.

In being allowed to use Fairgrounds property as a camping site all campers and fairgrounds patrons recognize that by participating in any activity on the Fairgrounds, including camping, that there are inherent dangers and risks involved that may include, but are not limited to property damage, personal injury and death. All Fairgrounds campers and patrons agree to assume and accept full risk of any and all property damage, personal injury or death which may occur, as a result of, or in relation to their participation in any and all activities associated with camping on the Fairgrounds.All Fairgrounds campers and patrons further agree to waive and relinquish all claims or rights of recovery that they, their family, or any persons in their camp site may have against Grays Harbor County, Grays Harbor Fairgrounds, its agents, employees and volunteers. In addition, all Fairgrounds campers and patrons agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Grays Harbor County, Grays Harbor Fairgrounds, its agents, employees and volunteers from any and all claims resulting from property damage, injury, death, or any losses sustained by them, or persons within their camp site, arising out of or associated in any way with camping activities at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds.
