The Grays Harbor County Fair is a summer tradition throughout Grays Harbor County, and this year’s event celebrates with five days of family fun Aug. 7-11, 2019.
The Fair Parade and Opening Ceremony are a tradition that kick off the official start of Fair on Wednesday, August 7th. The Fair Parade processional starts at approximately 5:30 pm at the horse barn area, and weaves its way all through the Fairgrounds, ending at the Custom Security/Pavilion Lawn Stage right about 6 pm. The Fair Parade is hard to miss, featuring horses, vintage tractors, 4-H kids, and the Fair Dedication recipient. Once the Fair Parade arrives at the stage area, the Opening Ceremony begins. Featuring the raising of the flag, the national anthem, words from your local County Commissioners and the Fair Manager, and the presentation of the Fair Dedication Plaque, you don't want to miss the Opening Ceremony.
