Camping Information



 

The Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds invites you to stay overnight with us during your event. We have a limited number of water/electricity sites, and dry and tent camping available as well. The Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds also has shower facilities available for use.

Camping spaces are available on a first-come, first served basis depending on event reservation structure; the date payment is received; number of nights reserved; and size of RV unit. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS FOR CAMPING FOR ANY REASONS. FAIRGROUNDS CAMPING IS SEPERATE FROM ALL EVENTS OR THE CANCELATION OF ANY EVENT. Please remember that the Raceway is managed by a separate business entity and that the Fairgrounds has no control over raceway operations.

Camp Spaces are limited to ONE Camping Unit (ie. Motorhome, Camper, Trailer, Tent, etc) and ONE vehicle. Trucks that tow Trailers are considered the allowed vehicle. A truck and camper combo will be allowed to have a separate vehicle as long as the Truck stays connected to the camper.

Camping policy may be affected by schedule/event conflicts. Please scroll down to use the appropriate camping forms/regulations as outlined below.

Major Race Weekends Camping
(Brownfield Memorial, ASCS Events, W of O/Big E Weekend)

You may reserve camping for the following Grays Harbor Raceway special races:

• American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Northwest Region Sprint Tour
• Fred Brownfield Memorial (ASCS) Northwest Region Tour
• Big E Weekend/World of Outlaws.


Camping Fees for Special Race Related Camping Dates are $25.00 Per Space, Per Night. Please note: Due to the Grays Harbor County Fair running August 8-12, 2012, Shipwreck Beads Modified Nationals, may have very limited camping in a specified area, with no power hook-ups available. Please call the fair office at 360-482-2651 to confirm. To reserve camping for these events download the special race camping form. Camping reservations will be on a first come – first served basis. If at all possible, the fairgrounds will try to accommodate returning campers space preference. If the requested space is not available, we will make every effort to allocate a space similar to the space requested. Camping will be assigned upon arrival for non-reserved spaces. Fill out a separate form for each of the races and mail with your check to:

2012 Grays Harbor County Fair 4-H, FFA & Open Class Exhibitor and Vendor Camping

Overnight camping is available, for RV’s and other camping units, during the Fair beginning Sunday, August 5h through Sunday, August 12th, 2012.
Each camping site is $50.00 for the week and includes one parking pass allowing vehicles to come and go out of the campgrounds through Pit Road. All camping is dry camping with no utilities available. Portable toilets are placed near the campgrounds and restrooms and showers located in the horse barn area are open for campers.

Specific spaces will be assigned by Fair Staff. Reservations may be made beginning June 11th. To reserve your space a reservation form must be filled out and returned with the appropriate camping fees. Reservations will not be made unless all information is complete and fees are received. Gates open on Sunday, August 5th at 10 a.m. Each site must have an adult who is responsible for all persons camping on the site. In addition the responsible adult must stay overnight in the camping site each night of the fair.
